UNL and the World Foresight Forum Foundation!
The Forum is an initiative of the World Foresight Forum Foundation. This Foundation brings together influential men and women from the worlds of international business, governments, academia and science with the purpose to create a new understanding of and a new approach towards solving the major strategic challenges that our world faces in this 21st century. The Foundation aims to inspire us all to create a secure and sustainable world for future generations.

Themes
We live in a world in which major shifts are taking place; we all witness examples of these shifts in the media. The WFF strongly believes that those shifts are interconnected. The financial crisis, the floods in Australia, food scarcity, resource scarcity and the recent events in Tunisia and Egypt are all examples of the major challenges that deeply impact the stability and security of our world and the well-being of its population. These are strategic challenges that require an international and integrated approach.

Speakers
At the World Foresight Forum in The Hague we will discuss with international thought leaders and decision makers how the WFF can reach its goal: a secure and sustainable world for future generations. We are proud that prominent speakers such as José Mariá Aznar (former prime minister of Spain), Cheng Siwei (Chairman of the International Finance Forum),  Peter Sutherland (Chairman Goldman Sachs International) and Luc Gnacadja (Executive Secretary, UN Convention to Combat Desertification) will join us in The Hague.

Future Leaders: United Netherlands 
In 2011, United Netherlands represented the furure leaders, together with Kairos Society, Ambrosetti Future Leaders and HOPE XXL, during the Forum. Are you a United Netherlands delegate or alumnus? Join our WFF delegation! You will actively engage in the WFF's meetings and discussions, contribute your views on the grand challenges and generate the roadmaps for a shared future. We hope for another succesful run in the next World Foresight Forum in 2013!
