We have sent all PSP Spring applicants an email informing them about the PSP group allocation. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you applied but did not receive such email.
€55.00 for online PSP
€85.00 for offline PSP
With the Public Speaking Program, United Netherlands offers her internationally awarded experience to motivated students and young professions who aim to become more confident, consistent and convincing in their public speaking.
In five evenings you will be provided with a solid basis in the art of public speaking. The key areas discussed during the program are body language, use of voice, structure, rhetoric, and framing while practicing speaking styles such as speeching, debating and pitching. The training sessions will take place from 18.30 until 22.00 and consist of a combination of theory and practice. The sessions are given by experienced (student) trainers, allowing for a safe group environment where participants can be challenged to overcome their personal barriers in public speaking.
Online & Offline PSP
Due to COVID-19 and the uncertainties that it entails, this year’s Public Speaking Program will have 8 groups being entirely online. In addition, there will be 2 offline groups that will, in principle, have physical trainings at the Radboud University in Nijmegen depending on the circumstances in light of COVID-19. There is a possibility that some sessions will have to be done online due to COVID-19. In the event that more than 2 of the scheduled offline sessions are conducted online, offline PSP participants will be entitled to a €30 reimbursement after the program has ended. On the 21st of April, offline PSP participants will be informed about the ultimate format of the first training session. As for the following sessions, participants will be informed of the format at least 1 week before the session in question.
In the registration form, participants may indicate availability and preference for multiple groups. They will ultimately be assigned to only 1 group of their preferred choices. On the 13th of April the participants will receive an email from us informing them about the group allocation, so that on this date they know the group that they are in. This means that until this date participants have to keep the dates of the groups that they indicated as preference free. Due to limited spots, we make the allocation on a first come first serve basis. You are at liberty to sign up for whichever group you prefer both of the online and the offline options regardless of whether or not you are a student at Radboud University. Non-students are also more than welcome to participate in our program!
As an organization, United Netherlands values the health and wellbeing of participants and trainers, and we follow the RIVM’s COVID-19 safety protocols.
If you have any questions, feel free to send an email to email@example.com and we will be glad to be of assistance.
